LAWI-58
Welding wire LAWI 58
Description:
Cr-Mn filler metal with stabilizing elements. The welding deposit is polishable, erodable, nitrable, etchable and treatable. However, cannot be chromium-plated. Stainless and corrosion-resistant. Suitable for surfacing and joining to similar steels such as 1.2072, 1.2316, 1.4015, etc. The welding deposit is also good standing against sea-water, diluted and inorganic acids, as well as heat-treatable on air- and oxidizing gases up to 950° C as well as sulfur-containing combustion gases at higher temperatures.
Hardness 1-st layer approx. 240 – 310 HB or approx. 24 – 31 HRC can differ, depending on the extent of mingling.
